Recommended Gear List for Skill Builder: Diagnostic Rifle Course
1. Rifles:
- Semi-automatic rifle or
- Bolt action rifle (Ensure both rifles are in good working condition)
NOTE: can be rimfire or center-fire, but no larger than .308
2. Optics:
- Scope or red dot sight, as per your preference and rifle setup
- Iron Sights are fine
3. Ammunition:
- At least 200 rounds of ammunition for each rifle (Ensure the ammunition is appropriate for your rifles)
4. Safety Gear:
- Ear protection (electronic or standard earmuffs/plugs)
- Eye protection (safety glasses with clear or tinted lenses)
5. Accessories:
- Rifle sling
- Bipod or shooting rest (optional but recommended for bolt action rifles)
- Shooting mat or kneeling pad (for comfort during prone or kneeling positions)
6. Supportive Gear:
- Magazines (at least 3 for semi-automatic rifles)
- Magazine pouches or holders
- Range bag or backpack to carry your gear
7. Documentation:
- Notebook and pen for taking notes during coaching sessions
8. Personal Items:
- Water bottle or hydration system
- Snacks or light refreshments
- Weather-appropriate clothing (hat, sunscreen, rain gear, etc.)
- Comfortable footwear suitable for outdoor conditions
